Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

Yesterday, we went to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland. We went with the Hales. It was a lot of fun. We went on a hayride to pick out our pumpkin right off of the vine. The kids had a great time, they also got to go on a train ride, pan for marbles, and even ride a pony. We spent almost 6 hours there. I honestly think that we are going to make a family tradition out of this. I can only post so many pictures a day, so I will post them daily with other new pictures/updates.

What a wonderful time you must have had with the children, Kat! You know how much I would have loved to have been there. As I read your post and saw the pictures, I couldn't help but remember when we would all get in the car and drive out to never-never land to go to the pumpkin patch. That was one of our favorite things to do, remember? You always got the biggest and best looking pumpkin while you convinced your brother that a smaller one would be better for him! Then we would have our little pumpkin carving party at the house and the best part was putting our hands in the ooey gooey inside of the pumpkin and taking out the seeds. You would get bored after awhile so Dad and I would finish cleaning up the inside for you. But, after everything was done, we would put all four pumpkins together on the outside ledge just outside the tv room, remember? I love to reminesce about you growing up and how special you are to me and Dad. We really did have a good time as a young family of four.

Making your own traditions with your family is just wonderful. I love traditions! We don't have many any longer with you kids. I miss that terribly and I wish we all lived in a closer proximity so that Dad and I could enjoy the traditions with you. We love you and miss you and the kids. You are a fabulous Mom!
